"You are what you believe in. You become that which you believe you can become."
— Bhagavad Gita

I often wonder: In our life's journey, when we reach a fork in the road, how do we know which road to take? In other words, in our dealings, how do we know what's right and what's wrong?

I tell anyone who's willing to listen that if we simply pause and touch our heart, we'll know. Deep down, we usually do. Yet, some still choose a path that many would consider 'wrong'. Why is that?

How do I know if I've been a good person? I use a few simple principles to serve as my compass:

  • Never knowingly hurt others
  • Never cheat

I can't claim I've always lived up to them perfectly, but they guide me and push me to become a better version of myself.

So I ask myself every day:
"How do I become a better human being tomorrow, compared to today?"
